Advance Wars Yellow Comet Fighter by Seth

The Yellow Comet Fighter from the Advance Wars games is basically a “chibified” World War II Japanese A6M Zero; like all the Advance Wars units, it looks very cute (being a war machine after all…) and Seth says he enjoyed putting it together! ;o)

Fierce Deity Link by Gena

29-06-2014: Here’s another papercraft Fierce Deity Link built by Gena!

This one was made as a birthday gift for a friend, and Gena was a little bit worried about sending it there by mail, but luckily it arrived safely. ;o)

And because it was for a special occasion, this time Gena’s brother used his skills with AutoCAD to make a special base with an image of the Triforce, which looks really great with the model: a really cool gift for a Zelda fan! ;o)

Zelda models by GruffySquirrel64

13-06-2014: This time GruffySquirrel64 sent me several pictures of some papercraft models that he made earlier!

As you can see, the first one is of young Link, from the “Majora’s Mask” video game; GruffySquirrel64 made it in 2010 already, and he says taking it down from the shelf for the picture gave him “a ton of nostalgia”. ;o)

GruffySquirrel64 has a big shelf with his papercraft models, because he has many more of them: many people often think that young Link was the first papercraft Zelda model that I made, but it was actually the third!

The first one was princess Zelda herself, and the second one was Majora’s Mask, two models that GruffySquirrel64 also built to put on his shelf:

GruffySquirrel64 also built the Clocktown postman: maybe he’s running from the dog (a postman’s natural enemy of course!) but I doubt it, because this particular dog isn’t very bad really (he really only attacks Deku Scrubs ;o)

I think it’s much more likely that he just doesn’t want to be late delivering the letters to the mailboxes all over Clocktown:

But don’t think that GruffySquirrel64 just builds paper models from my own papercraft webpage of course!

Because nowadays, you can find many more cool papercraft models on lots of different websites! If you check out GruffySquirrel64’s YouTube channel, you can find a couple of new videos since last time again. ;o)

10-05-2014: GruffySquirrel64 posted a comment about the YouTube channel he made to share the videos of the papercraft models that he built!

The picture (link) is actually a screenshot of his first video, about my very own Ocarina of Time adult Link! (and in the background, you can see *many* other papercraft models that he also built already ;o)

LEGO Pirates Captain Redbeard by Thibaud

05-06-2014: Thibaud had been looking around on the internet to find one of those big, plastic promotional LEGO minifigures statues you sometimes see in the shop windows of toy stores, but unfortunately, he found that they’re pretty rare, and very expensive…! :o(

So instead, after finding the papercraft LEGO minifigures from my webpage, he decided to make a paper one himself! ;o)

My papercraft LEGO minifigs are already much bigger than the real ones of course, but Thibaud wanted an even bigger one, so he had the templates printed on A3 size paper at a copy shop.

Then he bought some glue and set to work building his very own papercraft Captain Redbeard: picture 2 | picture 3 | picture 4

Although at times Thibaud found it quite difficult, you can see from the end result that he did a great job: picture 5 ! ;o)

40 Fathoms Lara by Ainillia

03-06-2014: Ainillia lives in the French speaking part of Belgium and normally, he’s always very busy with his work in computers (not literally in computers of course, but development, technology, repair, anything to do with computers really).

But recently, he has some extra spare time, and because he is fan of the classic Tomb Raider games too (just like me! ;o) he decided to build my papercraft “40 Fathoms Lara” from the Tomb Raider II video game!

I always use 200 gsm paper, but Ainillia used 120 gsm paper, and as you can see from the pictures, it works just as well. ;o)

And because Ainillia already made a papercraft model himself from scratch before, he knew what to do when he ran into some problems: for instance, he had a hard time glueingtogether the upper-chest part, but he didn’t give up, and in the end he managed to get it done beautifully. ;o)

But the biggest issue for Ainillia was to glue the plastic straw to Lara’s foot, to make it look like she’s hovering just above the sea floor:

I used an extra lot of glue and let it dry extra long, but Ainillia came up with a different solution: instead, he glued some craft paper in the top part of the plastic straw, to make a flat surface to glue it to Lara’s foot (otherwise you can really only glue on the thin edges of the straw…!)

It worked very well, and you can just see it in the sideview: picture

And what was great to hear, was that Ainillia told me that he enjoyed building his papercraft Lara so much, that he plans to make many more papercraft models from other people too! ;o)

Star Trek: The Next Generation Enterprise-D by Link

29-05-2014: This papercraft Enterprise-D in front of the neat “Star Trek: The Next Generation” background was built by Link Talbain as a gift for his mother, who is a big fan of the series! (if only all moms were that cool…!)

The paper model is quite tricky to build I think, because many of the parts are very small and thin: it took Link almost a month, and he says it literally made him sweat sometimes, but he feels very happy with the results. ;o)

As an extra finishing touch, Link painted the display stand gold, so it really looks like a real Star Trek logo (and because his papercraft Enterprise-D deserves it of course!)

He also made a several more pictures of the details of his papercraft Enterprise-D, but you can only see them if you’re his Facebook Friend (and believe me, they look just as good too!): Link’s Facebook Profile

25-04-2014: Fasme shared some of the pictures of the papercraft models that he built on Twitter already, not just my Paper Mario you see above, but also adult Link, young Lara and even American McGee’s Alice that he made for his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day! ;o)

Sora by introvertvirtuoso

22-03-2014: Nica (a.k.a. introvertvirtuoso) from the Philippines built my papercraft Kingdom Hearts 2 Sora!

As yo ucan see, she did a great job, and because she didn’t glue the head to the neck, her paper Sora can still look around in different directions! ;o)

Because of Sora’s fingers, it’s difficult for him to hold the Keyblade (that’s the same on my build too); but for Nica, that just means she can put Sora in a different pose like you see in the picture! ;o)

Scaled down LEGO minifigs by Kiyomhing

17-03-2014: Kiyomhing from South Korea sent me a really nice e-mail about my papercraft LEGO minifigs that he built: the Forestman Leader, the Black Knight, the Ghost and Captain Redbeard! ;o)

The ship you see behind them is not the official 1989 LEGO set 6285 (re-released in 2002 as 10040) “Black Seas Barracuda” from The LEGO Group, but a clone called “The Black Pearl” from the Enlighten Brick company.

The ship is the same size though, so it still tells you the scale of the papercraft minifigs: they are quite a bit smaller than normal, because Kiyomhing printed 4 pages of the templates on 1 sheet of paper!

So his Captain Redbeard for example is small enough to hold in your hand:

Because of the extra small size, Kiyomhing made some detailed parts (like the decorations of the Black Knight’s  helmet and the arrow quiver of the Forest Man) a little bit simpler, but as you can see in the pictures, they still look really fantastic! ;o)

In some cases, it was even too difficult to use the original cutting lines, but Kiyomhing just used his own judgment to make the parts the way he thought they should be (and it turned out great! ;o)

All the parts are more difficult when made smaller of course, but Kiyomhing found that the hands and legs were especially extra difficult…

But I think when you look at the pictures, you will agree that he did an amazing job!

And some advantages to making the papercraft LEGO minifigs smaller, is that it’s okay to use regular printer paper, and you need less room to display them of course.

And they’re just more cute, Kiyomhing says. ;o)

Twilight Link by drawwithme15

02-02-2014: drawwithme15 built my papercraft “Twilight Link” as a present for her boyfriend on his birthday, which is very cool as a self-made gift of course! ;o)

drawwithme15 made a lot of paper models before already, usually in one continuous go, but Twilight Link is a bit more complex with more parts and just took more time than usual, so she took lots of breaks.

To make her papercraft Twilight Link gift look extra good, she touched it up in some places with paint, but not everywhere, because she wanted to keep the details on some of the parts too. ;o)

drawwithme15 also follows photography classes, and as you can see, she took Link outside to apply what she learned there: picture 2 | picture 3

I wonder where Link is thinking about going next…? ;o)

Final Fantasy Auron by Corey

18-02-2014: Corey sent me this picture of my papercraft Final Fantasy X Auron that he built! ;o)

Corey calls it an “attempt” at my Auron, but if that’s the case, I think it’s very good attempt, because he looks great! ;o)

Legend Lara, American McGee’s Alice and Underworld wetsuit Lara by BRSpidey

04-02-2014: He needed a little help from Mayushii Shina (from Steins;Gate) but Brspidey built my papercraft Lara Croft from Tomb Raider Legend: picture 1 | picture 2 ;o)

And now he made her star in his little “choose your own storyline”-story called “Lara Croft: In search of the secrets of papercraft” !

Lara realizes she is only made from paper, and goes on a quest to find her origins, when she suddenly encounters the papercraft T-Rex from Paper’s Juke…!

But what happens next? Does Lara stand and face the monster? Or does she run and live to fight another day? Or will the encounter have a surprise ending? You can choose on BRSpidey’s DeviantArt page: link ;o)

27-10-2013: It’s another American McGee’s Alice again, this time built by BRSpidey, your friendly neighbourhood papercrafter from Mexico: picture ! ;o)

Alice was only BRSpidey’s second papercraft model, and although he found the fingers quite a challenge, it inspired him to continue papercrafting and now he has built lots more models already, many of which he painted for extra realism! ;o)

Underworld wetsuit Lara is a good example of that: because BRSpidey wasn’t happy with the quality of his printer, he painted the whole model with acryllic, matte, metallic and fluorescent paint, and he also added some relief to the arms and harness!

The results look very smooth, as you can se for yourself in these two pictures:

American McGee’s Alice by Birdy

20-01-2014: American McGee’s version of “Alice” was much darker than the famous Disney version, and I think you’ll agree Birdy’s picture does a good job portraying that! ;o)

Birdy really likes experimenting with picture taking, and in fact he tried several different things taking pictures of paper Alice, here’s an example of one of the setups: picture

Just like I decided to make my papercraft Alice after playing the first game, Birdy decided to build it after playing the sequel “Alice: Madness Returns” so many years later!

Okay, maybe at first it may seem a little bit strange to make a paper model of a “psycho girl” that kills all kinds of scary monsters in a twisted Wonderland, but you can see that I’m not the only one! ;o)

U.S.S. Defiant with LED lights by Shy

06-01-2014: The picture above shows a papercraft U.S.S. Defiant, built by Shy from one of the repainted versions that Bill Perry and Bones McCoy made from my original hand-drawn and water-coloured version.

But this one picture doesn’t tell the whole story: Shy built over a hundred paper models already, and despite having some problems buildings it, he wanted to make his papercraft U.S.S. Defiant light up with LED lights! ;o)

07-01-2014: Shy sent me some more pictures of the first “real” papercraft project he used LED lights in, a little diorama of a Battlestar Galactica Re-imagined Cylon Raider and Viper Mark II (from “Jay’s Box of Sci-Fi CardToys” I think?): picture 1

He made it as a birthday gift for his brother, with a light-up Battlestar Galactica logo in the middle of the styrofoam base, and of course, the little spaceships themselves have some LED lights too:

The engines are illuminated (which caused a little bit of a problem because Shy couldn’t find any purple LED lights for the engines of the Cylon Raider; so instead, he used blue LED lights covered in red cellophane ;o) and of course the red “eye” of the Cylon Raider: video ! ;o)

Surprisingly, Shy didn’t think the trickiest part was building the paper models or all that soldering, but masking the interior of the paper models (with black tape and paint) so the light would only shine out where he wanted to:

There are some things he learned to do a little bit differently on his newer models though, like that he doesn’t have to use cellophane, because the LED lights are bright enough to shine through the paper parts themselves, and he doesn’t have to use such thick wires:

And a real learning experience was not to use too many batteries…! ;o)

Because although normally, the more lights you want to use, the more battery power you need, he found out the hard way that you do need to be careful not to use *too* much power…

Most of the LED lights he used needed 3.3 Volts to work, and 2 AAA batteries only have 3 Volts; but he used a 4-pack of them, which gives 6 Volts, and many of his LED lights burned out, so he had to replace them and solder in new ones from the inside which was very difficult… :o(

So he used resistors to lower the voltage, and he grouped together the blue lights and the red lights in parallel circuits (because they use different Voltages) so he can light up the whole spaceships! ;o)

So this was Shy’s first papercraft project incorporating LED lights, but as I said before, he already built many other papercraft models as well; if you want to see some of them, you can do so on his Behance portfolio: link ! ;o)

Contest winner + LEGO Bane and Captain America repaint by Charles

21-12-2013: Those who think contests are a waste of time and you never win anything, guess again!

Charles actually won 2nd prize in the Lotus F1/Burn Energy Drink #MyKimiRobot contest that he found through my papercraft weblog: a real, signed Lotus Formula 1 team helmet:!

It took quite a while before the prize was ready to send out, but after three months, Charles finally got the helmet he won: picture ! ;o)

The contest was to build the papercraft Lotus F1 team robot supplied, and then take a funny/cool picture with it, and Charles’ entry had the robot racing a can of Burn Energy Drink, leaving the competition in the dust: picture ! ;o)

It’s a very smart and cool entry given it was for Burn Energy Drink of course, you can see the other prize winning entries here: link, and all the rest of the entries here: link

Congratulations on winning such a cool prize! ;o)

17-04-2013: Good news for everybody that likes Charles’ papercraft LEGO Captain America and Bane repaints!

Charles has sent me the files he made to build them, and allowed me to upload them here so you can download and build them too! ;o)

Charles says Captain America’s shield was kinda made on the fly as he built it, but he included the basic parts, so you can make it the same way he did. ;o)

14-04-2013: Repainting my papercraft LEGO minifigs into Captain America meant the first time for Charles using Adobe image software.

But it looks like he’s gotten a taste for it, because as you can see, he made another great LEGO minifig repaint already: Bane, from the LEGO Batman series: picture

04-04-2013: There have been repaints of my papercraft LEGO minifigs before, and here’s another really nice one: Captain America, made by Charles Hulbert: picture ;o)

Pretty much every part was repainted to look like Captain America, and as you can see, Charles even made a custom shield!

Charles did a great job I think, papercraft LEGO “Cap” looks really good!

One Piece “Going Merry” & Zelda “King of Red Lions” by thithou

12-12-2013: thithou made this papercraft “Going Merry” that you see in this nice little photo collage as a Christmas present for his cousin, and he did a very good job, so that will be a very nice surprise I think! ;o)

He found it a little bit difficult to work with all the small parts, but even so it only took him about 4 days to finish! ;o)

He even changed the horns on the figurehead to a brown colour, and instead of printing the shrouds coming from the mast on a transparant sheet, he decided to make them a little wider so he could make them from paper too.

Before the “Going Merry”, thithou already made several other paper models, including the “King of Red Lions” from the Legend of Zelda series:

And although he didn’t really have any trouble building it, after a while, the figurehead and the mast and sail proved to be a bit too heavy and they started to fall off… :o(

thithou was able to glue on the figurehead again using some extra strong glue this time, but for the mast, he made the difficult decision to carefully remove it completely and rebuild it by printing new parts again.

This way, he could put in some barbecue sticks on the inside for extra strength, and as you can see, it worked really well! ;o)

Final Fantasy Yuffie by Shaun

14-12-2013: Yuffie is the newest Final Fantasy character I made so far, and as you can see, Shaun liked her so much that he decided to build her too! ;o)

I think most parts aren’t too difficult, and Shaun found the parts layout and the instructions very helpful, and he did a very good job:

Young princess Zelda +lots more by minidelirium

11-09-2011: The neat little papercraft princess Zelda you see above was put together by minidelirium from Sweden!

Although she doesn’t make papercraft templates herself, she loves working with her hands and as you can see, she’s very good at assembly! ;o)

In fact, minidelirium actually built a lot more papercraft models, than just paper Zelda, many more from the Legend of Zelda series, but also from other video games and series, ranging from small and simple ones to very big and complex papercraft models!

You can see (part of) the rest of her papercraft collection in this picture (some models she already gave away to friends ;o)

If you look very closely, you can even see American McGee’s Alice too among all the other models! (without the arms though, minidelirium hasn’t made those yet ;o)

Fierce Deity Link by Marezus

01-11-2013: This Fierce Deity Link is only the first papercraft model that Marezus built, but she must have a natural talent for it, because she did a really great job! ;o)

And I really like the picture too: the stripes in the background looks just like special effects from Fierce Deity Link swinging his huge, double helix sword! ;o)

Marezus likes to draw, and she must be a real Zelda fan too, and in her DeviantArt gallery you can find some really nice drawings of Epona and Link and more: link ! ;o)

Fierce Deity Link by Cesar Rodriguez

10-06-2009: As you can see by the timestamp on Cesar’s picture, he built my papercraft Fierce Deity Link quite a while ago already, but he still looks very good!

Fierce Deity Link (sometimes called “Oni Link”) is the ultimate form of Link in the video game “Majora’s Mask”, and it is very difficult to collect all the masks you need to trade to become “Oni Link”…!

Luckily, building this papercraft version of him like Cesar did should take a lot less time! ;o)

Battlestar Galactica Viper Mark II + Super Smash Bros. Melee Link by WickedPaper

09-10-2013: Despite my Super Smash Bros. Melee Link being the most challenging papercraft model I made so far I think, there are many people that did a very good job building him! ;o)

It really has *lots* of very small parts and pieces, but as you can see, WickedPaper did a great job too: he even made his own custom, more square display base for Melee Link to stand on, and I think it fits really well! ;o)

02-10-2013: WickedPaper showed me this great picture of my papercraft Battlestar Galactica Viper Mark II that he built on his Facebook profile: picture 1 !

Batman, Sora, Homer and Majora’s Mask by Daniel

03-10-2013: Daniel sent me some pictures of another one of my papercraft models that he built: Batman, from the Batman cartoon series! ;o)

Daniel says he only wanted to build the black version, because the version with the blue accents looks too much like the 1960’s Adam West-version of Batman, and he never watched that series. ;o)

It also allowed him to save some money on ink, by painting the black parts by hand: picture 2 | picture 3

You can see it looks very good, and if he wouldn’t have told me, I probably wouldn’t have known about it! ;o)

Daniel enjoyed building his papercraft Batman, only the hands were difficult, but he says those are “a pain in the ass in every model…!” ;o)

But nonetheless he had to build those too of course, and in the end he did a great job on them!

24-01-2013: Daniel got himself a new printer, so he can finally print and build his papercraft models in full colour now!

And that’s exactly what he did with my papercraft Kingdom Hearts 2 Sora:

He was a little worried about building the spiky hair, now that it’s all done, he says it was surprisingly easy to build and everything went together perfectly: picture 2

I think you can tell Daniel put in a lot of work to do the best job he could on his papercraft Sora, because everything from the hands (which are always a bit tricky because of the small fingers!) to Sora’s Kingdom Key keyblade looks really great! ;o)

18-06-2012: Daniel built another one of my models: Homer Simpson: picture

Because he could only print the templates in black-and-white, he had to paint it himself, and I have to say he did an amazing job: I never would have guessed! ;o)

Daniel started with the shoes and pants, then the shirt and arms and then the head. He was a bit worried the fingers would be difficult, but luckily he didn’t have any trouble making them.

He thinks the eyes on his paper Homer look a little bit weird, but maybe Homer has just had a little bit too much Duff beer…? ;o)

21-12-2011: 24 year old Daniel Navarro from Venezuela built Majora’s Mask: picture

It was only the second papercraft model he made, so he printed it on regular printer paper to use it as a kind of practice and to save the thicker cardstock paper he has for other paper models he wants to do (and it’s in grey colours because he ran into printer problems… ;o)

He’s pretty happy with the results though, and I agree with him: even without colours, he did a good job building it and I think he can safely try doing more complex models too! ;o)

Kingdom Hearts Sora with shiny keyblade by Collecter128!

26-09-2013: Collector128 showed us the shiny Kingdom Hearts keyblade he made earlier already, and here’s a new picture, this time with Sora himself holding both keyblades!

It’s a great build, and with Sora wielding two keyblades now thanks to Collector128, I wouldn’t want to be a Heartless…! ;o)

11-02-2013: Inspired by the shiny lightsaber of my papercraft LEGO Luke Skywalker minifig, Collecter128 made a shiny gold and silver Kingdom Hearts keyblade from my papercraft Sora model! ;o)

The original version was made from the regular, printed parts, and the shiny version was made using metallic paper; it looks really good, and I think Sora would be happy to have such a keyblade! ;o)

Twilight Link by eaglechild

2013-09-05: From the looks of this picture, it seems like Twilight Link has finally found a path into the Kokiri Forest! (or maybe he cut an opening himself with his Master Sword? ;o)

He was built by “eaglechild”, a 46 year old mother of two from Switzerland, who are all huge fans of the Legend of Zelda video games: her 10 year old son handles the controller when they play the games, and she helps him solve the tougher puzzles. ;o)

But eaglechild is practicing playing the games herself too, and she says it’s quite challenging to start playing video games at her age: at first she was too afraid that Link would loose all of his life energy before she even got the chance to hit the enemy, but now she proudly says she can challenge them without fear! ;o)

She found the confidence she needed in reasoning that she can play the recorder too (they actually found my papercraft webpage by accident while looking for Zelda sheet music for the recorder ;o) so she would also be able to handle the Wii remote control to play the games, and she was right! ;o)

And in true Legend of Zelda-spirit, even though they had never done a papercraft project before, she and her 10 year old son rose to the challenge to build their own papercraft Twilight Link together too, after buying good 200 gsm paper and scalpel knives to cut out the parts.

Because it was only their first, beginner project and papercraft Twilight has quite a few small and tricky pieces, they decided to scale him up to 150% (and they are even planning one scaled up to 200%! ;o)

For the glue, they poured all of it from the tube into a small, lockable jar, so they could use thin paint brushes to apply it to the glueing tabs.

All in all it took eaglechild and her son just 3 days to build Twilight Link as their first papercraft model ever: they had some problems with the (very tricky!) fingers not being able to bend the right way to hold the Master Sword, and the handle of the Master Sword wouldn’t stick, but together they were able to find a solution for those problems! ;o)

So together they already learned a lot about papercraft from their first project, and they are very pleased with their achievement; the message they sent me was very enthustiastic, so I think this is one family that will continue to have a lot of fun with the Legend of Zelda series! ;o)

Paper Mario 3D by Beav3rboy

2013-08-10: Here’s an excellent build of my Paper(craft) Mario 3D again, by Beav3rboy! ;o)

“Paper Mario 3D” is actually only Beav3rboy’s latest addition to his papercraft collection though, he has a whole cabinet filled with papercraft models he built!

And it’s a really broad collection too, ranging from a Star Wars scout trooper on a speederbike to Santa and his sleigh and even a Skyrim Frost Dragon, and lots more cartoon and video game characters!

American McGee’s Alice and more by Bruno

2013-07-16: Everybody knows the story of the cute, young Alice that falls down a rabbit hole and ends up in a wondrous and magical place called “Wonderland”!

But Bruno likes American McGee’s version of the story of “Alice” better, where she is a bit older and Wonderland is much darker and more… evil…

So that’s why he decided to build my papercraft version of American McGee’s Alice as you can see! ;o)

He was a little bit dreading having to do the hands and the fingers because they looked so difficult, but then he was able to focus himself on the job and he managed to finish them!

Tomb Raider 2 Venetian motorboat by Amanda-Lara1996

2013-07-15: As you probably know, I’ve always been a big Tomb Raider fan, and if I had to guess, I’d say, so is Amanda! ;o)

She has a neat Tomb Raider collection (link), which as of now also includes her build of my papercraft Tomb Raider 2 Venetian motorboat!

It was the first papercraft model that Amanda put together, and she says she really enjoyed it, so that’s always nice to hear! ;o)

It looks though like Lara’s “aggressive” steering somehow got the motorboat on top of the statue from the papercraft young Lara Croft vignette…?! (can’t that woman ever park a vehicle normally? ;o)

Adult Link by Sam

2013-07-01: Sam is only 13 and he had only been papercrafting for about 3 months when he decided to try out my papercraft Ocarina of Time adult Link!

Furthermore, Sam only has a black and white printer, so he had to colour all the parts himself with coloured pencils first before he could start building!

But honestly, if he wouldn’t have told me, I don’t think I would have noticed because he did a really good job! ;o)

Sam says the difficult parts for him were the hair, the hands and the sword, but he did a very good job on those too and the finished papercraft adult Link looks really great! ;o)

Zelda models by Javier

2013-07-01: Javier has been in Rome for a while, and of course he was busy doing other things there than papercraft. ;o)

But now that he’s back, he sent me a new picture of one of my papercraft Zelda models that he built: young Link from Majora’s Mask!

As you can see, Link first went to Kokiri Forest, no doubt to ask advice from the Great Deku Tree. ;o)

To go on a great quest, you need some pocket money though, but luckily in Hyrule money is easy to come by: you just have to cut the grass: picture ;o)

Great job building another papercraft Zelda model again by Javier, and I hope Link has all the rupees he needs now! (because there doesn’t seem any grass left to cut anymore…! ;o)

2013-06-16: Looks like Javier really got bitten by the papercraft bug: here’s another papercraft Zelda model he built already, Majora’s Mask: picture ;o)

Or… could it be that it was actually Majora’s Mask that told him to do it to begin with…?

I’m not sure, but fact is that Javier is having second thoughts about building it, because now the evil mask seems to be watching him while he sleeps: link…

15-06-2013: As we suspected, who else but Ganondorf (picture) would have come up with the idea to steal all the colours from Hyrule?

It looks like Link finally found his hideout, and once Ganondorf is done with his “you don’t stand a chance against me!”-speech, we’ll soon see if his adventure has made Link grow strong enough to defeat him once and for all (again)!

12-06-2013: Although Javier’s printer’s yellow ink cartridge was empty when he printed the parts to build my papercraft Ocarina of Time adult Link  (I can only suspect Ganondorf is behind it…!) he didn’t let that bother him! ;o)

He built his papercraft Link anyway, and as you can see in the picture, he did a great job: picture

With his Hylian Shield and Master Sword, I’m sure Link will soon defeat Ganondorf and bring back all the colours to Hyrule (as you can see, he already brought back the colour “black“! ;o)

Let’s just hope Ganondorf’s evil colour-stealing plans don’t spread to other worlds, like that of Digimon or Pokémon, but as you can see in Javier’s DeviantArt gallery, so far the crafts he made from those series still have all their colours: link ;o)
