31-01-2010: London Reinhard built this Link and Epona, and I think it looks mighty fine! But don’t take my word for it, here’s a picture of the other side, so you can judge by yourself. ;o)
Although not the first, it was London’s most time consuming papercraft model to date, taking at least 12 hours to build. But if you ask me, it was time well spent!

29-01-2010: Look at what I received in my mail today! It’s a very clean build of Zora armor Link, done by Hayley.
She and her boyfriend Jon love papercraft (and eachother ;o) so much that they decided to make a Deviantart account about their joined hobby, fittingly called “the papercraft couple“. ;o)

28-01-2010: You guys never fail to amaze me! I consider SSB:M Link one of the most challenging models on my website, but Werety built this one when he was only eleven!
And he did a very good job too! There are a lot of very small parts, so it must have taken Werety a lot of work and patience to get an end result as great as this!

17-10-2009: With a brother like Aaron Mears, it’s not hard to imagine how Zach also got hooked on papercraft! ;o)
This time, he’s sending in his own build: no, that’s not some random dog that walked in front of the camera when Zach was trying to take a picture of the car; that’s Zach’s Clocktown Schnauzer!
Although the picture is a bit blurry, you can still see he did a pretty good job! And from the sounds of it, Zach is only just getting started… ;o)
19-12-2009: in a stroke of what I can only describe as madness, Zach attempted to build the evil Red Hollow Cylinder model… (picture)
I can only hope that The Cylinder will have some mercy on him now that it’s almost Christmas…

15-12-2009: Only a few days after I finally finished it, Nathan “Truffles” Richards already sends me a picture of his completed Hero Clothes Link from Twilight Princess.
Nathan has been papercrafting for about a year now, but he says this is his best one yet – and I must say that it does look outstanding!

12-12-2009: I intentionally made Zora armor Link and Hero outfit Link the same scale, so people could “mix and match” the sword and shield.
And that’s exactly what Toni did!
But he didn’t stop there; he also cut a hole in the face of Zora armor Link and replaced part of the face with that of Hero outfit Link, so that the black mask isn’t covering his mouth anymore!
And if you look carefully, you can also see that Toni added a little extra detail by cutting out little triangles from the top and bottom of the armor, to make it look even more “scale-like” like it does in the game.
With the edge colouring and these extra details, I think Toni can be really proud of the way his paper model turned out!

06-11-2009: Here’s a new picture from Toni Müller! This time it’s young Link from Majora’s Mask!
22-07-2009: Toni Müller built this Zora armor Link in about 15 hours and although he said there were some parts that confused him a bit, I would never had guessed if he hadn’t told me, because that build already looked great as well!
Though being pulled from his comfy virtual world into the real world may sound exciting for an adventurer like Link, but it does require some adjusting…
Here, Toni tried to explain Link that rupees are no good in the real world and that you need coins!
Link looked a bit baffled, and although I don’t know the current exchange rate between rupees and Euros, it’s enough to make ZaL’s head explode! (amongst other things…)

06-09-2009: s0ur had mostly been building Cubeecrafts when he found my website, and he just *had* to build Kingdom Hearts Cloud! ;o)
Cloud is a bit more complex than a Cubeecraft of course, and s0ur tells me he had a hard time figuring out how to glue together the hair, but you wouldn’t say so from the pictures I think, because it looks really well done!
But maybe you can tell “the other secret”? ;o)
The bottom half of this model was built using a glue stick, but s0ur switched to Elmer’s Regular White Glue for the other half, because it just works much easier. ;o)

23-08-2009: The picture of Zora armor Link that you can see above was sent to me by Andrew.
He’s a really big Zelda fan, as this picture proves: besides ZaL, he also built Ganondorf (that was the first one he made) young Link, Oni Link, the Clock Town Schnauzer and Epona.
He’s getting the hang of it more and more, so it’s nice to hear he’s having so much fun building them!

09-08-2009: Matthew Lowe made a few smaller papercraft models first before attempting my Cloud Strife model, and I guess all that practice payed off because Cloud looks wonderful!
If you’re thinking “he looks a bit bigger than usual?” then you could be right, because Matthew printed him on A3 paper instead of A4; now Cloud’s Buster sword is really huge…! ;o)

19-08-2009: it looks like Alice donned her classic look for the festival! If you want to see more pictures of Carrer de Bruniquer transformed into Alice’s Wonderland, check out Victor’s slide show of the festival here (Google has dismissed the Picasa webalbums unfortunately)
03-08-2009: If you happen to be in Barcelona during the Festa Major de Gràcia this year (15-21 August 2009) then be sure to visit Carrer de Bruniquer: in this street, you will be able to encounter a 3,5 meter tall incarnation of my American McGee’s Alice model!
Victor and several people from Barcelona’s Gràcia district are making it as part of the decorations for the festival for their street, which will have an Alice in Wonderland theme.
They’re making it out of cardboard, because even thicker paper won’t be strong enough for a model this big! To enlarge the parts from the original model, they projected the parts onto a wall and traced them with a marker.
You can imagine it’s a big project, so not something Victor can do on his own; but when it comes to preparing for a party, you’ll find there will always be people willing to lend a helping hand: picture 1 | picture 2 ;o)

29-07-2009: Built with just regular printer paper, Peter sends me a picture of his papercraft Yuna!
She looks pretty neat, although Peter was a bit concerned about using just regular printer paper: I use 200 gsm paper myself, which is thicker than most people seem to use though (160 gsm, which is about twice as thick as regular paper as opposed to 2.5 times).
But in the end, it’s just a matter of personal preference, to get the results you want (like this great looking Yuna! ;o)

12-07-2009: Symon shows off his incredible papercraft talent again! This time he built Midna to keep wolf Link company (picture) and although he did have some trouble glueing on the head, he did an amazing job building the King of Red Lions! (picture) It looks like a very clean build, as well as Josh’s Great Sea base!
15-05-2009: It’s actually been a while since anyone sent me a picture of their wolf Link, but here’s a new one then, done by Symon from Switzerland!
It’s the version *with* lines, but as many people already found out, the textures are pretty dark so you can hardly see the dotted lines. ;o)
The teeth and the earring are probably some of the smallest and most difficults parts I ever made on one of my models, but Symon did an amazing job I think! (even though it was a bit difficult; the folds on that earring *really* are tiny! ;o)

08-07-2009: Although Fierce Deity Link was one of the first models she downloaded, Stacy got so distracted with all kinds of other models that she only recently finished it!
In the end, it took her about a day to build. You can see one of Stacy’s other models in this picture, namely one of Kaizo’s Sephiroths. I had no idea it was so huge! But I don’t think Link is much impressed by its size… ;o)

08-07-2009: Maybe you already know Elso from his life sized papercraft Terminator endoskeleton build on his weblog, but I didn’t know he was also a Tomb Raider fan!
You can see he has been very creative with my Venice motorboat and great white shark, and several of Sascha’s papercraft models as well (that swimming Lara is actually Sascha’s “Dead Lara” – but with that shark so closeby, I guess that’s only a matter of time… ;o)
He explains how he made this diorama at the Spanish speaking Modelos de Papel forum, but you have to be a member to see it… But after seeing this I’m sure you have lots of ideas of your own as well! Here are some more pictures for inspiration: picture 2 | picture 3 | picture 4
