11-09-2005: The Webdude from Tenessee, USA has built this scaled up version of the “Going Merry”! Why did he scale it up, you ask? Well, he is planning to make a neat island base for it with a few other One Piece paper models which I can’t wait to see!

29-06-2005: This “Going Merry” is by Jeffery Nguyen from Texas, USA. In this picture, you can see how small the model actually is. Here are two more pictures: picture 2 | picture 3.

The transparant parts for the rigging are made from a simple food wrapper with some clear tape over it to prevent smudging from the felt tip lines as a cheap alternative for a printable transparant sheet. Smart thinking Jeffery!

30-04-2005: This is the “Going Merry” by Ken Moore from Ohio, USA. He had the idea that with a few modifications, it could be used for a tabletop pirate game.

The 15 mm skeleton crew is from Jim Hartman’s entry for the Paper Worlds Miniatures in Paper contest 1: Pirates and Ships. You can get them from Jim’s site: OneMonk.
