  1. ok……i want you to design something
i am trying to ask nicely
but can you please please help me design a papercraft
    you are my favorite papercrafter
and it would help me sooooo much if you could get me going
it would be awesomne if you could respondez to this

    1. Thank you for the compliment, I am glad you like my work!

I’m afraid I can’t really give you a step by step tutorial, because that would require too much time for me…

But to get you started, I can tell you that my “computer-made” paper models are made using a software called Pepakura Designer. It will let you unfold a digital 3D model of whatever you like, into seperate 2D parts that you can then print, cut out and build.

To create a 3D model (or edit an existing one) you will have to use a seperate 3D modelling program. Most of the time, I use Metasequoia, but other people use Blender for instance. It’s important to use one that you’re familiar with, or one that you can easily learn to use.

Other than that, it’s really just a matter of (test) building a lot of paper models to get a lot of experience, so you can get a feeling of things that you would have differently yourself. Papercraft isn’t a very difficult, but it *is* a very time consuming one… ;o)

      Good luck and have fun!

  2. that is awesome!
I built it as a gift and was so pleased how well it was made^^

and your instructions helped me a lot, thank you for making them and this kick-ass model^^

  3. i lied i have one more question:did you ever play the alice game?
one more:can you please make american mcgees mad hatter papercraft and the duchess possibly?

the mad hatter is more important though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. Of course I played American McGee’s Alice! I kinda have a weakspot for “twisted fairytales”… ;o)

The same goes for the Mad Hatter and the Duchess as for the Cheshire Cat I’m afraid, I don’t know when I’ll make them yet, sorry…!

  4. who is the other person who made alice and can you link me to the website so i can contact him?

one more question:when are you going to make the cheshire cat?

  5. Hi, wonderful model, a few guys are searching it, i will tell them,
. Hope you could make the Cheshire cat also.
thank you for sharing with us

    1. I hope they like it! The Cheshire Cat (from American McGee’s version) is also on my to do list, but it may be a while before I finally make it…

It’s actually quite disproportionally large compared to Alice in the game, so I might adjust that bit, but I’ll decide that when the time comes (I have enough distractions as it is already… ;o)
