This is great! I saw the version with the Zora Armor and thought it looked great but I didn’t want to make it because I have so many bad memories of that temple (spent FOREVER on it. I honestly do HATE water temples). But I was very excited when I saw this!
Yeah, the water temple is usually a difficult one…
i think thats the best zelda papercraft i have ever seen!!!!!
because i sometimes was looking for a twihlight princess papercraft
Thank you, I hope you have fun building it!
You made a numbering mistake. the right arm started with piece 33 and so did the right hand. I built the right hand and then had nothing to do with it.
Yeah you’re right, I messed up the part numbers again… ;o)
I probably wasn’t paying enough attention and forgot all about the arms because they’re on a whole different page.
Counting is so difficult…!
how long of a vacation are you gonna take from papercrafting for the holidays? Merry CHRISTMAS!!
Haha since papercrafting is a hobby of mine, I can do it whenever I like! ;o) I want to try to finish the Black Hole Advance Wars units and “Ninja-Toes” model still this year, so I will also be papercrafting during the holidays! ;o)
(and a Merry Christmas to you to!)
you’re making a model of yourself? I always wanted to know what youlokked like, but don’t you think this is way too flashy.
PS: I know it’s not going to be you, but does that make it a secret project?
or can you tell me what it is
Haha you’re that curious? ;o)
No, I won’t be making a model of myself (that would feel much too… weird ;o) but what I will be making… is really a secret for now.
(maybe I’ll give away some obvious clues for everybody to guess again when I’m a bit closer to releasing it ;o)
I’ve been waiting for this! Great job and thanks!
Thanks for the compliments, I’m glad you like it!
this is the most epic zelda model i ever saw!
people arent grateful of all the work it needed
i will build that right now
awesome job!
its just the line across the face and the creepy smile. You cant deny how noticable the line is
How the hell are you gonna build a papercraft without lines?? Every papercraft have lines, but where most papercrafts have a lot of lines in the face, this only has one or two, an dyou CAN deny how noticable it is by using thinner paper or edgecoloring to make it less noticable just a tip that you already know but already forget apparantly. ;)
Yeah, there was a heated discussion on my weblog about that already… ;o)
Using thinner paper and edge colouring are both very simple and effective ways to minimalize the white lines, but coincidentally, a guest on Nintendopapercraft (not you, was it? ;o) made me remember a technique that is mostly used on bigger models, but that I think could work on the face of Link here, since it’s not a very difficult shape: “butt jointing”
“Butt jointing” is when you take a third piece of paper (or if you want, a piece of adhesive tape) and use it as a seperate glueing tab to glue the two parts half way on top of it, “butting”/pushing the edges against eachother, instead of on top of eachother (I made a small video tutorial about it some time ago).
That way, you don’t get a ridge/line at all. Like I said, it’s easier to do on bigger models, but if you really want to go all out, it would work for the Link’s face as well I think. ;o)
I think that might of been me!Did Fezco also reply to the topic? If so, that was prolly me…:P
He did, it was this thread.
The head looks fine. Another amazing model. Thank you.
I love how it looks and I don’t get what everybody thinks is wrong with the head: the head has a great shape just like Link looks only it doesn’t have 20 scraptiny parts for the eye nose and mouth but that is a GOOD thing Thank you Ninjatoes!
I want to like it, but the head just doesnt look right. sorry
