Hey, I’m having a lot of trouble with the right arm and the instructions are no help :(
Ganondorf is a “polygonal” model, so it’s important to make sharp/crisp folds. To do this, it’s best if you score the fold lines with a blunt tool, so you can easily make a crisp fold on the fold lines.
On the printed version, the fold lines can be very difficult to see, so check with the digital PDF version to see if you didn’t forget to score and fold any fold lines, and which way you should fold them (valley fold or mountain fold).
If you still can’t see them, zoom in on the parts, and/or adjust the brightness until you can. After you’ve scored and folded the fold lines, it will be much easier to shape and glue together the parts.
If you’re not sure if you got it right, try it without glue first. The parts are grouped together on the templates pretty much the way you should glue them together, and on most parts, the glueing tabs of the parts that go together will “hook together”. Once you got it right, you can apply some glue and glue the parts together permanently.
If the parts won’t fit together like in the instructions, check again to see whether you might have forgotten a fold line, or maybe folded it the wrong way (up instead of down or vice versa).
I’ve exaggerated the fold lines on the arms and hands in this schematic for you (of course you should also score and fold the glueing tabs, even though I didn’t mark them!) but you’ll have to check the PDF to see if they’re valley or mountain folds: link

I eventually ended up figuring it out- the right arm looks a little makeshift but that can be concealed with the cape :O

Hi there! I’m glad you like my papercraft models! I hope to make many more Legend of Zelda models, including many from Ocarina of Time; an adult princess Zelda is definitely on my to do-list, but I can’t promise you when I’ll finally get to making it exactly right now, sorry…!
Icthus7 made two adult princesses Zelda before; the Christmas version is here: link but the regular version (link) seems to be down, so you’ll have to contact him about it, or look for it on another website with Google.

Sick models! I will try them in the near future, only the zelda models ofcourse, love those games. How the heck do you make these papermodels ninjatoe?
Well, my Zelda models all started as the original 3D models from the game.
The most time consuming part is remodeling the 3D game model so that it can become a good papercraft model. There’s not “one way” to do this, and the only “secret” is to build a lot of models yourself, so you get a good “feel” for what kind of parts would be fun to make in paper, and what kind of shapes would just be confusing and frustrating… I made a lot of models already, some by hand some by computer and I’m still learning each time. ;o)
After that, I use a program called “Pepakura Designer” to unfold the 3D model. After a test build I work out the last kinks, and then I copy+paste the parts in Photoshop to make a nice layout.
And that’s all there is to it. ;o) It’s not very difficult, it’s just very time consuming if you want to do it right. ;o)

So, got any ideas for your next papercraft? I am *kind* of asking for a Twilight Princess Link, but if that’s too hard, I understand. That’s just a papercraft I really want to try and build :D
