January 4th 2025 I had a big stroke…
I lived, but have to go through a long recovery
to see what I can still do in the future…

Hopefully it will be a lot…! 👍 Always keep having fun papercrafting!

Which papercraft model would you like to build?

What’s papercraft?” you ask?

Well, that’s when (in this case ;o)  you download and print a page of 2D parts (preferably on some thicker paper) cut them out and fold them, and then glue them together to make your very own 3D paper model of your favourite game/anime/movie character/whatever you like!

There are a lot of websites where you can find free templates to download and build, including my own one of course which you’re visiting right now. ;o)

Currently, I have two-hundred-and-thirty-seven (237!) free papercraft models in stock for you! :o) Select one of the Download categories above or in the Site map to the right to find the model you wish to download (if it’s not in one of the obvious categories, try the miscellaneous section).

If you want to contact me, or send me a picture of your finished paper model for the hall of fame, you can send me an e-mail at ninjatoes@home.nl and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Have fun building!

    1. Don’t worry, it’s all okay. ;o) Counting Ganondorf, I now have 11 Zelda models, but only ten can fit on one page.

Young princess Zelda is still available, by visiting the Zelda section of my site, and then clicking <<Older Entries at the top or bottom of the page.

  1. This looks great. Need I say that your new Gannondorf is all I ever hoped for, and worth the wait. Thanks again, for another paper dream come true! Keep on rocking the paper world, Ninjatoes!

  2. well I wouldn’t make it have heavy backgrounds because then it kinda just tares apart the blogs overall theme. It would have to be some sort of subtle logo or just a slight change of color scheme (still keeping the relation to the rest of the website) in each section but yes having different stuff for each section would be cool

    1. To be honest, I kinda like the simple style of WordPress’ standard template, and I think I’ll stick with it, at least for now.

I’m glad you guys like the Ganondorf model, have fun building!

  3. i have a suggestion for the blog too. would be awesome a background of the kind of section (for example you can add a background of zelda in the legend of zelda section) sincerelly, thus the blog likes one little poor :)

  4. hey Ninja toes one request for your Website design .. with your other sites I think your Blog should get a little more attention to followers of your crafts cause as the looks of it right now it doesn’t stand out much … so I think it would be nice to have a handy dandy button at the top of your page or as part of the header to take you to the blog… I just always find it kinda hard to find the blog link among all those others :(

    1. I only recently changed my website to a WordPress blog system, and I focused on getting the downloads up, and the hall of fame and my links section.

I’ll probably tweak my website a bit more in the future, but WordPress isn’t seem as “freely editable” as Blogspot for instance, so I need some time to look into it.

But I’m sure you can understand,it’s not really high on my priority list right now. But it’s good to know that people *do* know about my weblog! ;o)

  5. Heya Love your work. I think its amazing to be able to bring your favorite characters from games to life. ‘Figuratively speaking’ of course :). I noticed your mention of 3-d software. And about the models. I currently have worked with Blender. I was wondering if youve had any experience with Blender, as it does have a nice UV unwraping and texturing features. But my big question was how do you aquire the models? do you have like Roms or something on your computer and extract them from the game? Or do you find them around the net? Was just curious as it might be fun to try to make some. I currently have built your Majora’s mask, and look to build more, once i can get cardstock and ink. :) Hope you had a happy holiday season. Thanks for your time.

    1. It’s not that you unfolding a 3D model with Pepakura is the *only* way to make a papercraft model, it’s just that with all the “already-made” 3D models you can find on the internet, for most people it seems to be the least intimidating way, that’s why I mentioned it. ;o)

When a game is very popular, there’s usually a crazed fan knowledgeable enough to find a way to view and sometimes even extract the actual game models. ;o)

Many of my own models started out as 3D models extracted from games, after which I usually use Metasaquoia to create my own model around it that will make a better papercraft model.

When I need to do a model from scratch, I usually create the first, crude model in Sketchup, because it works really fast for me. I never used Blender though, but that’s just because I’ve gotten used to Metasequoia. ;o)

  6. Ok, thanks ninjatoes! I just started Yuna, with her being my second model of yours after Link and Epona. She’s lost her boot heels as a result of the paper, but I’ll keep building. Keep up the great work!

BTW, any plans for your Zelda models after Ganondorf? I’m thinking a Brawl Link might serve as a good companion to SSBM Link…if you have the time, of course. :)

    1. Lost her heels?! What on earth did you do to her?!? ;o)
You could try printing those parts again, and fix it later on if you want; paper is very easy to work with, so it shouldn’t be a problem. ;o)

I’m thinking about doing a Kingdom Hearts model after Ganondorf, but I do want to make many more Zelda models in the future, but I haven’t decided which ones yet. ;o)

  7. Hey, ninjatoes; long time lurker and builder, but I’m waiting until have a bit more done before I send you anything for the HoF. :)

I’m planning on doing some of your FF models, and I just noticed that the PDF says “A4” on it. Being in the US, this is a bit of a problem. Is it possible that I can still print to letter size without cutting anything off, or are your PDFs going to be in separate A4 and letter format like they used to?

    1. I’m afraid you’re mistaking my paper models with somebody else’s, because I never released any of my models in (both A4 and) US letter size… (I did release some of my models in lined and unlined versions, maybe that’s why you’re mistaken? ;o)

I don’t do this, because it would mean I would have to lay out and host on my webspace twice as many files as I do now, while it is very easy to print A4 sheets onto US letter size paper. Most software and printers will adjust the scale automatically, so that nothing will get cut off.

US letter paper is a bit shorter and a bit wider than ISO standard A4 paper, so the model will be scaled down a little. My FF models, with only Auron being a little over 30 cm tall, will only be 1 or 2 mm (about 1/12th of an inch) smaller, so I’d say: print a page and try it out! ;o)

      Have fun building!
