January 4th 2025 I had a big stroke…
I lived, but have to go through a long recovery
to see what I can still do in the future…

Hopefully it will be a lot…! 👍 Always keep having fun papercrafting!

Which papercraft model would you like to build?

What’s papercraft?” you ask?

Well, that’s when (in this case ;o)  you download and print a page of 2D parts (preferably on some thicker paper) cut them out and fold them, and then glue them together to make your very own 3D paper model of your favourite game/anime/movie character/whatever you like!

There are a lot of websites where you can find free templates to download and build, including my own one of course which you’re visiting right now. ;o)

Currently, I have two-hundred-and-thirty-seven (237!) free papercraft models in stock for you! :o) Select one of the Download categories above or in the Site map to the right to find the model you wish to download (if it’s not in one of the obvious categories, try the miscellaneous section).

If you want to contact me, or send me a picture of your finished paper model for the hall of fame, you can send me an e-mail at ninjatoes@home.nl and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Have fun building!

  1. Looking forward to the future TP: Link papercraft.
Honestly, I love the pose that is shown here.

It’s simple/different and it’s a break from the classic poses/action poses that most papercrafts use.

Anywho, that’s my two cents. ^^

-Oh and as someone who is new to papercraft-ing, what paper should I print most of my models on?
My dad owns a digital printing company, so he has access to just about any type/weight paper.

    Thanks in advance.

    1. He says 200 gsm cardstock is the go, but I use regular paper and my models seem to turn out okay. Just remember that if you’re using carstock it might be a good idea to score the folds before folding them
And as Ninjatoes would say, have fun building!

      1. Well, 200 gsm is the paper weight I use myself, because I find it easy to work with and the models turn out nice and strong at the scale I make them.

But like Truffles says, regular paper works fine for some people, and other people use something in between, so it really is just a personal preference.

As for TP Link’s final pose, that’s something I’ll decide when I actually start making him! ;o)

        Oh yeah: have fun building!

    1. Yes, I’m going to make many more papercraft Advance Wars units. The plan is to make all the units from the games, one or two at a time! ;o)

      1. When you know who your going to make next could you please make a video or post a comment. I am so excited papercrafts are awesome!!!

            1. Haha actually, right now I’m working on Homer Simpson; Twilight Princess Link is on my to do-list (probably in a different pose) but not right now…

  2. Wonderful choice, Homer is. An original idea that seems impossible noone has made him before! Good luck on him! (If I am to assume he is your next project O_o ?)

    1. Well, MB/Hasbro and 3DPaper made a papercraft Homer and Bart as part of their 3D Foldin’ Art series (http://www.hasbro.com/shop/browse/Foldin-Art/_/N-1rZfbZgt/) that you can sometimes still find in the bargain bin, and there are a couple of other free paper Simpsons models online like Homer’s car (http://www.maquettes-papier.net/forumenpapier/topic2323.html), a can of Duff beer (beer not included: http://www.maquettes-papier.net/forumenpapier/topic2366.html), the Simpsons’ house (http://www.geocities.com/andrewfm/) and several simple boxhead style models.

But yeah, I wanted my own. ;o)

  4. Honestly, I’m not that pumped for a HC Link. I mean, I think there are much more interesting models out there that need papercrafting, rather than ANOTHER link. Of course, it’s entirely up to you and I’m sure whatever you make will be brilliant. Good Luck!

    1. Man, tell me about it! There are hundreds of models that I really need to paperfy! But I’ll just take it one at a time (or sometimes two, but not much more than that…! ;o)

    1. Well, there are quite a few differences between ZaL and Hero CLothes Link, most noticably of course his flippers, face mask and helmet and cap, so simply recolouring ZaL won’t work (and isn’t as easy as it sounds anyway if you want to do a good job! ;o)

And even so, making a copy of another model doesn’t really appeal to me… I want to give him his own personality, a simple clone would be so boring to do…

I don’t want to make Hero Clothes Link just because I want a row of Links on my desk, I just like his character design as well, so he deserves better than being treated as a clone! ;o)

    1. Hero Clothes Link seems to be many people’s favorite… ;o)

It will be *a lot* of work again, and seeing how my vacation starts next week (yay!) I might not want to spend every day behind the computer again. I will probably try something a bit more quick and easy, and save HC Link for afterwards.

Not sure though, maybe I’ll get in a TP mood between now and then. ;o)

      1. You could be the first person ever in the history of papercrafting to make HC Link, or, I suppose you could wait until someone else makes one (not as good as your’s of course) and your’s is just another insanely awesome papercraft.

        Your pick.

        1. Well, I don’t believe it should be like if I make HC Link, somebody else can’t anymore or vice versa; people should always just make the models they like! ;o)

    1. That should be explained in the help files and website, usually when you install a tool like this, it will create a new group in the Start menu with a link to the program, and an Uninstall link.

Alternatively, most software you install on your computer can be uninstalled in the Configuration menu under Software.

      1. Same here. Maybe you could do a Pokemon Battle Revolution person. It’ll be a challenge, though…

            1. It could refer either to the Roman Colliseum, or one in Pokemon Battle Revolution. In the Pokemon world, a colliseum is like a Gym, only you don’t get a badge.

            2. Basically a coliseum is just a big sports stadium or sports (or really any big event)arena.

The Colosseum in Rome was the biggest sports arena in the ancient world, and is called specifcally the Colosseum because of the Colossus of Nero statue at the entrance.

But nowadays people use coliseum and Colosseum regardless of which one they mean. ;o)
