  1. I yust have a question can you make some 8-bit papercrafts it will look cool like decoration

    1. I’m not sure what you mean by 8-bit papercrafts I’m afraid…?

Do you mean papercrafts that look like 3D pixelated sprites, kinda like Paper Duplicator did with Link from the first Zelda games here: http://paperduplicator.com/crafts/2015/6/5/3d-8-bit-link or Mario here: http://paperduplicator.com/crafts/2015/6/5/3d-8-bit-mario ?

To be honest, I don’t that I would enjoy making a papercraft like myself so don’t think I will make papercrafts like that, sorry… :o(

If you mean papercrafts from characters from 8-bit games, I don’t know, I might of course if I like the game! :o) But I will probably make a version of the character in a real 3D style, maybe from a newer game in the series (like I did for Doomguy: https://ninjatoes.wordpress.com/2021/12/18/doomguy-1999/)

  2. nice work! i´m a papercraft fan and your job is amazing;
i prefer lego papercraft, wish you work more on them!
    congratulations

    1. Thank you for the compliments, I’m happy to hear you like my papercraft works!

I really like making the papercraft LEGO minifigs, so I definitely want to make more of them in the future too. I can’t promise you when exactly or which ones, but when I make a new one, I will put it with the others on my papercraft webpage here of course, so stay tuned! ;o)

    1. That’s really a personal choice, I always use 200 gsm (“grams per square meter”) paper, which is about 2.5x as thick as regular printer paper (regular printer paper is usually about 75-80 gsm).

The thicker the paper you use, the stronger your finished paper model will be, but lots of other people like to use 120 gsm paper, or 160 gsm, and other people do like to use regular printer paper.

Some people also like to use glossy/photo paper, which is usually a bit thicker than regular paper too, and that has a nice “shine”.

Sometimes if you ask nicely in the store, they can let you try out a few sheets, because usually you have to buy a whole pack of course. But trying it out is really the best way to find out if you like the paper, so you can try anything from 120-160-(200) gsm paper (most people use 160 gsm I think).

I’m sorry I can’t give you a definitive answer, but I’m sure once you’ve built a few models, you will have a good idea which kind you like best! ;o)

      Have fun building!

    1. Papercraft is only a hobby of mine, so I really can’t promise which paper models I’ll end up making in the future (because I don’t even know yet myself ;o)

I do plan on making all the units from the Advance Wars 1, 2 and Dual Strike games, but even that is an ongoing project for many years already, and I still have a lot of them to do…! ;o)

    1. Anything could be made of course, but I must say that I haven’t seen many papercraft Uncharted models yet, sorry…

I know that Billybob884 made a Phurba Dagger once:
      http://billybob884.deviantart.com/art/Phurba-Dagger-Assembled-165319600

And there are simple paper toys like this one: http://conleyea.deviantart.com/art/Nathan-Drake-cubee-116427574

But I don’t remember seeing more detailed papercraft characters yet… (but that doesn’t mean everything of course, maybe they are out there and I just missed them! ;o)

I can’t promise you I will make some Uncharted models myself in the future, but there are a lot of papercrafters out there that like video games, so don’t give up looking, and even if nobody made them yet, maybe somebody will in the future! ;o)

  3. When you get around to it, could you make the different forms of link from majoras Mask? Like deku link, Goron link, and zora link. Thank you!

    1. Link’s transformations are paper models I’d really like to make some time, but unfortunately, I really can’t promise you when I’ll finally get around to them…

But if you don’t want to wait that long, you can alreadt find a neat papercraft Deku Link on Nintendo Papercraft (made by Icthus7):
      http://nintendopapercraft.blogspot.com/2008/04/deku-link.html

And a papercraft Zora Link on Navi’s papercraft website:
      http://navipapercraft.com/Zelda_Models.html

And on Hyrule Papercraft you can find three of the four Elegy of Emptiness versions (maybe they will make the Goron version too some time? ;o)
      http://hyrulepapercraft.blogspot.com/2010/04/elegy-of-emptiness-link.html
      http://hyrulepapercraft.blogspot.com/2010/06/elegy-of-emptiness-deku.html
      http://hyrulepapercraft.blogspot.com/2010/08/elegy-of-emptiness-zora.html

I don’t remember seeing a Goron Link yet, but don’t give up looking because maybe I just overlooked it! ;o)

      Have fun building!

    1. Hi there! I’m a big Zelda fan, so I will definitely make Legend of Zelda models in the future, although I can’t promise you from which adventure or which characters exactly…

I did already make a few Twilight Princess papercraft models, like wolf Link, Midna and Link in his regular green Hero’s Clothes and in his Zora armor, which you can find in the Zelda section on my papercraft webpage: https://ninjatoes.wordpress.com/category/the-legend-of-zelda/

And many other papercrafters are Zelda fans as well, and have also made several other papercraft Twilight Princess models, like on http://ultimatepapercraft.blogspot.com/search?q=twilight+princess or http://hyrulepapercraft.blogspot.com/search/label/Twilight%20Princess or http://paperzelda.blogspot.com/search/label/Twillight%20princess or http://ignatiuspapercraft.blogspot.com/search/label/Twilight%20Princess and of course on sites like http://nintendopapercraft.blogspot.com/search/label/Zelda you can find many different papercraft Zelda models, including ones from Twilight Princess.

And if you search around a bit, I am sure you can find lots more paper models you might like already! ;o)

      Have fun!

        1. Reading back, I think you’re right; sorry I misunderstood…! :o(

I’m afraid I’m not really a big Twilight saga movie fan myself, so the chance that I’ll make a character from that series is not very big, sorry… :o( I don’t really remember seeing many Twilight saga movie paper models yet, but I haven’t really been looking for it of course, so if you search around a bit, maybe you can! ;o) Maybe not many “realistic”, more complex models, but the Twilight saga movies are very popular, so I’m sure there should be some simpler papercraft toys!

  4. Please do all the Happy Mask shop masks from Ocarina of Time! And some monsters would be cool! A wolfo!

    1. I’m a big Zelda fan and making all the masks is a neat idea, but papercraft is just a hobby of mine, so I can’t promise you that I’ll make all the masks…

There are already quite a few papercraft Zelda masks made by other people that you can make though: http://nintendopapercraft.blogspot.com/2009/03/zelda-masks.html

And maybe you can find some more paper Zelda masks if you look around on other papercraft websites, because there are a lot of Zelda fans that also like papercraft! ;o)

The same goes for the Wolfos: I’d definitely like to make some papercraft Zelda monsters in the future, but I can’t promise you which ones…

Paperzelda made a white Wolfos before: http://paperzelda.blogspot.com/2012/02/ootmm-white-wolfos.html

They made a regular, brown one too if I’m correct, but I think they removed it from their weblog… :o( But maybe you can ask them about it?

I’m sorry that I can’t promise you to make the paper models you want, but I hope you can find some papercraft Zelda models to keep you busy, but I’m sure you can! ;o)

      Have fun building!
