January 4th 2025 I had a big stroke…
I lived, but have to go through a long recovery
to see what I can still do in the future…

Hopefully it will be a lot…! 👍 Always keep having fun papercrafting!

Which papercraft model would you like to build?

What’s papercraft?” you ask?

Well, that’s when (in this case ;o)  you download and print a page of 2D parts (preferably on some thicker paper) cut them out and fold them, and then glue them together to make your very own 3D paper model of your favourite game/anime/movie character/whatever you like!

There are a lot of websites where you can find free templates to download and build, including my own one of course which you’re visiting right now. ;o)

Currently, I have two-hundred-and-thirty-seven (237!) free papercraft models in stock for you! :o) Select one of the Download categories above or in the Site map to the right to find the model you wish to download (if it’s not in one of the obvious categories, try the miscellaneous section).

If you want to contact me, or send me a picture of your finished paper model for the hall of fame, you can send me an e-mail at ninjatoes@home.nl and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Have fun building!

  1. So, any thoughts on what’s next (as narrowing it down from your massive list of possible ideas)? I was thinking maybe an odolwa from majora’s mask would the coolest thing ever, besides your fierce deity link.

    1. Well, my computer broke down midweek (just got it back), so I haven’t been narrowing down much yet… ;o) I always wanted to make some bosses from the N64 Zelda games, so who knows? ;o)

  2. I’ve made a remastered version of your Type 10 shuttle and USS Rubicon in Photoshop, and wanted to know if I could host them on my website for others to download. I’m also planning to do the same with your Delta Flyer model.

  3. i remember seeing one of these in nintendo power i belive and i love these i havent done one in a while mainly cuz i cant seem to cut right bit to menton i dont have tht spical cute you use

    1. Yeah, I remember being very proud when my Advance Wars models made it into Nintendo Power. ;o)

I use an X-Acto knife, but you can use any knife that you are comfortable with: many people just use those cheap “break away” blades.

The main “trick” to make “good cuts” is to use a sharp blade, and don’t try to rush. ;o)

      Have fun building!

      1. thts probaly why only half the stuff i cut looked good then again i some how only printed half… damn school printer

      1. I think he may have been asking about instructions. You can’t translate text in pictures as far as I know.

        1. Yes, Google Language Tools will not work on text in pictures.

You would either have to type the text from the pictures manually and translate then, or try to translate yourself, but I would only do so if you are areally confused and feel like the text could explain the problem (many times, the text just tells you to glue the next two parts together ;o)

Don’t worry if you can’t understand every word in the instructions. I’m sure you can build most steps without looking at the instructions at all. ;o)

I hope you’ll be able to figure it out!

  4. How do you make a papercraft glossy and shiny. Iv’e seen videos on youtube and it looks cool. do you need special paper or do you apply it after you have finished the model?

    1. There are special kinds of papers that you can use, like “glossy” paper. It’s usually already a bit thicker than regular paper and as the name implies, should give a lot more glossy shine than regular cardstock.

I know of people that used photo paper but that wasn’t a big succes. And others say they *did* get very nice results using photo paper (so yeah, I don’t know… ;o)

I know some people used varnish to coat their paper models, hoping to protect from the sun, dust, and accidental water splashes. It’s basically the same thing you can use for paper maché, but if you want to try it, I would try a spraycan and I’d try it on a simple paper model first, not your favourite one… ;o)

Less is more, so don’t drench the paper by holding the spraycan too close… ;o)

      Good luck and have fun!

  5. lol thanks for the link
what kind of glue do you use? mines all messy cuz i use elmers white glue. and i put it on with a tooth pic.i think im doing somthing wrong…

    1. A lot of people ask me that, actually. I use “Tesa hobbyglue” but although it is *very* common where I live, people tell me it’s hard to find outside the Netherlands.

It’s just an ordinary (paper)craft glue, but it works for me. But if you can’t find it where you live, there’s no need to panic, because other glues can work just as well. ;o)

The main thing you want to remember, is not too use too much glue: just put on enough so that the glueing tab is “tacky”, and then when you press on the part, there’s so little glue that you won’t push it from underneath the part, and the part will stick almost immediately because of the pressure you’re applying.

Try using less and less glue, and when you get at a point where the glue dries up before you glue on the part, use a little more glue next time and then you know how much glue you need to use. ;o)

      Good luck and have fun!

  6. u should release the “RED HOLLOW CYLINDER” with cloud >:)
