January 4th 2025 I had a big stroke…
I lived, but have to go through a long recovery
to see what I can still do in the future…

Hopefully it will be a lot…! 👍 Always keep having fun papercrafting!

Which papercraft model would you like to build?

What’s papercraft?” you ask?

Well, that’s when (in this case ;o)  you download and print a page of 2D parts (preferably on some thicker paper) cut them out and fold them, and then glue them together to make your very own 3D paper model of your favourite game/anime/movie character/whatever you like!

There are a lot of websites where you can find free templates to download and build, including my own one of course which you’re visiting right now. ;o)

Currently, I have two-hundred-and-thirty-seven (237!) free papercraft models in stock for you! :o) Select one of the Download categories above or in the Site map to the right to find the model you wish to download (if it’s not in one of the obvious categories, try the miscellaneous section).

If you want to contact me, or send me a picture of your finished paper model for the hall of fame, you can send me an e-mail at ninjatoes@home.nl and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Have fun building!

  1. yo ninjatoes i would to see a jim carry ace ventura papercraft pleas
or maybe a ezio from assassins creed

    1. Haha well, those are quite two extremes… ;o)

I really can’t promise you if/when I will make them, though, since I already have so many ideas for other paper models…

I know somebody else was working on a papercraft Altair model some time ago (link) and he was thinking about making an Ezio model too, but I don’t know about any Ace Ventura’s models, sorry…

  2. Awesome Mario model, cant wait for the release!
I saw your collection :O. Can you pick a favorite?
Can I make a suggetion for the next model? How about elika from Prince of Persia? I’m sure you have your own idea’s already..

    Keep up the good work!

    1. I have so many favourites, that I wouldn’t know where to start really…!

I’m a big videogame fan, so I like making paper models from videogames, but there are so many that I still want to make, that sometimes it can take years before I get around to actually making it… ;o)

But as for Mario, you don’t have to wait anymore: link

      Have fun building! ;o)

    1. I always use “cardstock” which is basically just thicker paper. It is easy to work with, and the final model will be nice and strong when built.

“Hardened paper” is much more difficult to bend and roll, so especially “smooth” models will be much more difficult to make I think…

  3. What type of glue do you use? Does it dry quickly? Where did you buy it?
I just want to know cause i want to make it easier to build paper crafts.
    Plz reply Thx ^-^

    1. I use “Tesa hobbylijm”, the kind with the red cap. In English it’s called “Tesa All-purpose glue” and in German it’s “Tesa Alleskleber”. You can see a picture of the bottle in many of the instructions.

In the Netherlands, it’s sold pretty much everywhere in department stores, toy stores, office supply stores, specialized craft stores… But I don’t know whether or not they sell it where you live of course…

The trick to getting a good bond without having to hold it for half an hour, is don’t use too much glue!

Use only a small amount, and spread it out, so that it’s just “tacky”. Then when you put the two parts together, you can still move it around a bit if you need to, and when you firmly press the parts together, they’re stuck well enough so you can let go without having to fear that the parts will come apart again. ;o)

I guess it takes a little bit of practice, but after a few tries, you’ll get a feeling for how much glue you should use. ;o)

      Have fun building!

    1. Personally, I like to use 200 gsm paper, which is about 2.5 times as thick as regular paper.

I had a webpoll on my website not long ago asking people that same question, and here’s what they said: link

As a rule, “the thicker the paper, the stronger the final model“.

But as you can see in the results of the poll, it’s really just a personal choice, and once you’ve tried it out once, you’ll quickly get a feeling whether or not you like using the paper you used, or that you would rather try a thicker or a thinner kind. ;o)

      Have fun building!
