January 4th 2025 I had a big stroke…
I lived, but have to go through a long recovery
to see what I can still do in the future…

Hopefully it will be a lot…! 👍 Always keep having fun papercrafting!

Which papercraft model would you like to build?

What’s papercraft?” you ask?

Well, that’s when (in this case ;o)  you download and print a page of 2D parts (preferably on some thicker paper) cut them out and fold them, and then glue them together to make your very own 3D paper model of your favourite game/anime/movie character/whatever you like!

There are a lot of websites where you can find free templates to download and build, including my own one of course which you’re visiting right now. ;o)

Currently, I have two-hundred-and-thirty-seven (237!) free papercraft models in stock for you! :o) Select one of the Download categories above or in the Site map to the right to find the model you wish to download (if it’s not in one of the obvious categories, try the miscellaneous section).

If you want to contact me, or send me a picture of your finished paper model for the hall of fame, you can send me an e-mail at ninjatoes@home.nl and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Have fun building!

      1. (this is the same person who needed a link to a starfox assult arwing) for the future, tell me a link to a starfox assult arwing thx

        1. Although I can’t possible keep everyone up to date personally I’m afraid, if I make a Starfox Assault Arwing myself, I will upload it on my papercraft webpage here of course, and I will make an announcement about it on my “papercraft works-in-progress”- weblog here: link

You can always check which paper models I’ve released so far on my “Master model list” (link) If you press the Ctrl+F keys on your keyboard, you should get a search box where you can type in Starfox for example, so you can see if I made any Starfox models already.

If somebody else makes one, I might share the news on my Twitter account (or click here for thumbnails of the paper models I shared on Twitter) but only if other sites haven’t already shared the news.

Sites like Paperkraft.net and, for Starfox models, Nintendo Papercraft will undoubtedly also tell the news if a new Starfox Assault Arwing has been released by somebody. They’re two great sites to keep track of new paper models being released, but there are many more of course.

        2. A more detailed Super Smash Bros. Brawl Star Fox Arwing has been released today on the Nintendo Papercraft website (link), but still no Star Fox Assault Arwing version as far as I know I’m afraid…

    1. You’re right, but it’s done on purpose. ;o)

The new units in Advance Wars Dual Strike all look the same for all 5 armies, except the colours. So because all the parts are the same, you can use the same instructions for all 5 armies, just like with the Stealth Fighters and even the Neotanks from Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising, for instance.

    1. With all the ideas I have, I’m afraid I can’t promise anything, but a “modern” Arwing is definitely a nice idea, so who knows? ;o)

There already are some classic Arwings on Nintendo Papercraft (link) but I can’t remember from the top of my head if anybody already made a Starfox Assault one (but if somebody did, you should be able to find it pretty easily ;o)

    2. Ignatius of Nintendo Papercraft designed a normal Arwing. It’s a Brawl trophy rip and so quite detailed. I’m almost done testbuilding it so it can be posted- I should have it done in a week or two (it’s a really simple model, only 6 pages, but I don’t have much free time so building has taken some time). It’s not an Assault Arwing, but it still looks pretty awesome, and is far cooler looking and detailed than the previously-posted Arwings I’ve seen so far.

        1. The Nintendo Papercraft website is here: link

As I understand, Ignatius’ Arwing isn’t ready to be released yet, but when it is, it will be under the Star Fox label where you can also find the other Arwings and other papercraft Star Fox models: link

    1. From the looks of it, you did a great job building it! I saw the Darknut on Nintendo Papercraft and I thought lots of Zelda fans would love to see it or even try it themselves too! ;o)

    1. You mean the Mark 1 from JP Papercraft? Yeah, there are no separate instructions, but the Pepakura *.pdo files are meant to offer some building help. You can open them with Pepakura Viewer; it doesn’t show you how to fold and assemble each separate part, but it does show you where each part goes and what it should look like in 3D, so with a little experience and intuition, it helps you to figure out how to assemble it. ;o)

If you like Iron Man, Uhu02 made a papercraft Iron Man too, *with* some instructions: link

MarianoDG made an “Ultimate Iron Man”, without instructions but with Pepakura *.pdo file: link

And Rgatt actually made several ones : link but *without* instructions (or *.pdo files) so they’re a bit more difficult, and you can also find all kinds of chibi / super deformed SD version on other sites as well that are much easier of course.

      Have fun building!

  1. ninjatoes, I have a problem when folding on cardstock. Every time I fold a valley, It leaves an ugly crease that shows the white paper underneath.

    1. When you score the paper to make a fold, you can kind of “scratch” the paper, actually cut the upper layer, or only “dent” the paper.

The first two methods damage the ink and the paper, so that can be a reason that the white of paper shows through again; if that’s the reason, then maybe you can try using a blunt / dull object to score (just dent) the fold lines before folding, instead of a sharper one that might damage the paper / ink.

Sometimes no matter what technique you use though, you will still see white lines (especially on the cut edges of course). You can use a technique called “edge-colouring” to get rid of them.

I made a small YouTube tutorial explaining it (link) but it’s very simple: you simply take a magig marker or crayon and colour the white edges the appropriate colour before glueing the parts together. It’s a simple solution, and it helps on fold lines too of course. ;o)

I hope this helps, have fun building!

  2. um im thinking of making a youtube acount on how to make to models and reviews on them to show people the site is it cool with you

        1. No problem, I see you already built a few papercraft models so you already have plenty of practice I think! ;o)

Making a video of building a paper model is a lot of work, so good luck and have fun building Epona!

    1. Making a papercraft model from Gears of War would be pretty much the same as making any other papercraft model really, but with all the other ideas I have as well, I can’t promise you if/when I will make one, sorry…!

Alclione (link and link) and FX Console link made some Gears of Wars models before, though, and I’m sure there are others! ;o)

  3. Hello Ninjatoes, what im wondering now that i continously read these requests is this…. what model are you currently doing? or are you planning in doing once the time comes around? At the moment im doing a lot of other stuff just becuase i want to do that memorable papercraft you know? like you melee link, but the double sized one i made, that one model that gratifies me to actually do it……

can’t wait for the answer :D!

    1. Right now I’m working on a papercraft Linebeck, from the Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Sometimes I like to work on a model in secret, but for most papercraft projects I’m working on, you can check for any updates on my papercraft weblog (link) or on Twitter (link).

Which model I’ll do after that, si very difficult to predict really, because I have so many different ideas… It could be anything from one of my main categories (Advance Wars, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts etc…) or something completely different for the miscellaneous category.

      1. wow sounds interesting, as for me, the advance wars you have look awesome, especially the more detailed tanks and such look great, im just not into it :/….. but it does sound very interest for that linebeck your doing or any newwer models you might do, like kingdom hearts….. i want to do cloud….. i just don’t hink im ready.. but can’t wait :D thank you again. For all of your great models.

    1. Possibly, but I can’t promise you what or when I’m afraid, because I don’t even know myself yet. ;o)

There are already several Star Fox papercraft models over at Nintendo Papercrafts to keep you busy, though: link

      Have fun building!
