January 4th 2025 I had a big stroke…
I lived, but have to go through a long recovery
to see what I can still do in the future…

Hopefully it will be a lot…! 👍 Always keep having fun papercrafting!

Which papercraft model would you like to build?

What’s papercraft?” you ask?

Well, that’s when (in this case ;o)  you download and print a page of 2D parts (preferably on some thicker paper) cut them out and fold them, and then glue them together to make your very own 3D paper model of your favourite game/anime/movie character/whatever you like!

There are a lot of websites where you can find free templates to download and build, including my own one of course which you’re visiting right now. ;o)

Currently, I have two-hundred-and-thirty-seven (237!) free papercraft models in stock for you! :o) Select one of the Download categories above or in the Site map to the right to find the model you wish to download (if it’s not in one of the obvious categories, try the miscellaneous section).

If you want to contact me, or send me a picture of your finished paper model for the hall of fame, you can send me an e-mail at ninjatoes@home.nl and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Have fun building!

  1. Dude you are awsome !!!! probably one of the best papercrafters of all time. Your stuff is awsome , Advance wars and zelda models are great

  2. Sorry to bother you, but what do you use for scoring? My ball point pen gives me a wrinkly fold, and my knife gives me a white line where I scored.

      1. If I just fold the paper, the fold will look wrinkly, but if I score it with a proper tool, I’ll get a nice, crisp fold.

        1. I just use my knife, applying only a little bit of pressure, but it *will* wtill leave a mark after you fold the parts.

So if you don’t want that, you have to use a blunt tool, that won’t damage the ink and/or paper.

An empty ballpoint is a good tool, but if you feel the point is too big for you, there are special embossing tools that have a very small ball on the tip that are made just for that kind of stuff.

In the Yamaha papercraft tutorial they use a mechanical pencil without the actual pencil lead.

You can use pretty much anything that has a nice, small tip of course, but you have to be careful that you don’t scratch the paper if you want to do your best to hide all lines as much as possible.

  3. hey, why dont you make the beaver guys from majoras mask in the great bay into a papercraft? it would be really cool!

    1. Because he’s only got a rather long list already as it is… For all we know it could be on that list, but there’s so many ideas he has that he wants to make at some point and as of such doesn’t take requests.

    2. What Truffles said is pretty much correct: I’d love to do many more papercraft models in the future, including lots of Zelda ones, but I can only work on one model at a time, so have to make a choice concerning which one I will do next, and then all the other ideas will have to wait again…

So I can’t promise when exactly I will make a certain model like the Majora’s Mask Beavers, you will just have to wait and see, sorry. ;o)

  4. I’ve just built the keyblade, and I can’t get the hand to fit snug around the handle. Did you glue the keyblade to the hand?

    1. I made the fingers out of 1 part, instead of 3, so they can’t really bend like real fingers. If you can’t “clamp” the black handle of the keyblade between the thumb and the other fingers, I think the best solution is to simply glue it into place like you said.

  5. Yo are amazing, those models are incredible… But LoZ is missing one key character… Could you do Sheik? Please???

    1. Sheik is definately on my to do-list, quite possible both the Ocarina of Time version and one of the more detailed Super Smash Bros: Melee/Brawl versions, but it’s impossible for me to say when I will finally get around to it yet…

    2. Don’t bother that one is not available anymore: The shipment of this model finished long time ago. I’m sorry about it I won’t send more mails.
I sent more than 150 mails. Please don’t continue asking for this model.
      Thank you for your attention.
And the papercrafts from Ichtus always look good in his pictures but the developments usually aren’t so I agree that Ninjatoes should make a Sheik papercraft!!

      1. Well, Icthus has chosen to make it only available to the people that gave him their e-mail at a certain point, but to be honest, chances are that you’ll be able to find it on other sites…

  6. Ninjatoes guy, you have officially impressed me. I have been waiting for a Sora model for about 1 and a half years now, and finally, I check into the Kingdom Hearts section for any sort of new update. And there, sitting in all its awesome awesomeness, is a picture of a Sora model, with the download links just below. All I can say is thank you very much for putting your time and effort into creating such a fantastic looking papercraft for all to build! I cant wait to build it!

    1. Thanks for the compliment! ;o)

Sora had been on my to do-list for ages, just like most models, so sorry to keep you waiting! ;o) I hope you’ll have fun building him!

  7. It’s always nice to hear the bits of knowledge you have, and I wanted to know, how did you decide to have the hood drape over the shoulder+upper body, rather than having them connected?

    1. There were just so many parts joining together in such a small area (neck, shoulders, arms, hood) that the connections of the paper parts would have been very awkward…

But because the hood covers up most (if not all) of it, it just wasn’t necessary to make something that will create a lot of trouble and that doesn’t really need to be there. ;o)
