January 4th 2025 I had a big stroke…
I lived, but have to go through a long recovery
to see what I can still do in the future…

Hopefully it will be a lot…! 👍 Always keep having fun papercrafting!

Which papercraft model would you like to build?

What’s papercraft?” you ask?

Well, that’s when (in this case ;o)  you download and print a page of 2D parts (preferably on some thicker paper) cut them out and fold them, and then glue them together to make your very own 3D paper model of your favourite game/anime/movie character/whatever you like!

There are a lot of websites where you can find free templates to download and build, including my own one of course which you’re visiting right now. ;o)

Currently, I have two-hundred-and-thirty-seven (237!) free papercraft models in stock for you! :o) Select one of the Download categories above or in the Site map to the right to find the model you wish to download (if it’s not in one of the obvious categories, try the miscellaneous section).

If you want to contact me, or send me a picture of your finished paper model for the hall of fame, you can send me an e-mail at ninjatoes@home.nl and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Have fun building!

  1. Are you ever going to make a Wind Waker Link, I was just wondering cause I plan on doing the King of Red Lions and want a Link to go with it.

    1. Hey Jeremy,
if you do make the king of red lions, then I have a modified Wind Waker link that i’ve done my best to scale to fit and stand in the back of ninjatoes’ king of red lions model. I created a water sea base for the king model, that you can find in the king of red lions page on ninjatoes’ site. in that sea base model, i give info on my wind waker model that i can email you.

      paperjoz

    2. I’m definately planning on making a Wind Waker version of Link some day, but I really have no idea yet when, I’m afraid…

Paperjoz made an adaptation of Chokipeta’s Wind Waker Link to fit my King of Red Lions though, and like he says, you can ask him to send it to you using his e-mail on his Great Sea stand (you can get that one from here) that he made for King.

      Have fun building!

      1. you should make things (over time) to add on to it! you could make a simple cannon 1 month, then an anchor the next month, and so on. It could work.

  2. Sora’s gonna be your 94th model (unless you’re working on something else behind the scenes). So because of that, I was wondering. What’s you 100th papercraft gonna be or what do you hope it will be?

      1. Haha I don’t know about that… To be really honest, I don’t think it would be a very interesting paper model to make; it would probably be best to leave it 2D… ;o)

    1. This time I’m not making any “secret” models, so Sora will be #94, yes. ;o)

I don’t know what my hundreth will be, though, but to be honest, I’m not really thinking of making it a special one; it will just be the next in line. ;o)

      1. 100th model + tetras ship = extreme awesomeness. come on, 100 is a special number, and it would be nice if you did somethingultra cool.

        1. Although Tetra’s ship is definately on my to do-list for some day, I can’t promise it will be #100, sorry…

I like making every model, so for me, they’re all ultra cool. ;o) It depends more on the mood I’m in at the moment, than the fact that it will be #100 I think, but who knows? ;o)

  3. Just finished Alice, here’s a pic!

I’ll put some more photos of Alice and my Blue Moon stealth on my blog later, so kepp your eyes peeled.:D

  4. Is English your first language? You’re really good at it, but I looked up the Netherlands, and English isn’t even in the top five languages. So far I don’t think I’ve seen you make a single grammar mistake.

    1. Haha, thank you guys for the compliments, but to be honest, I’m sure I’ve made lots of grammar and spelling mistakes in all of my ramblings over the years…

Although English is not one of the official languages of the Netherlands, it is taught to every dutch kid in school until they can at least buy a loaf of bread at the baker’s and ask directions to the train station when they’re abroad… ;o)

But personally, I’ve found that the best way to learn English, is to just watch lots and lots of Hollywood movies and play lots and lots of videogames. ;o)

    1. Sora still needs a lot of work before I can release it (I’m still in the test building stage) but it’s coming along quite nicely, so I hope it will be worth the wait! ;o)

  5. Hey Ninja, your next Sora model will be Sora on his battle position, (KH1 or KH2 costume), or in his “cool” position with his Keyblade on the back(KH1 or KH2)

    Tell me man!

    I can’t wait for that one >:3

    1. Sora will have his “standard” costume of Kingdom Hearts 2, and his pose will be more like Twilight Link and ZaL, than Auron and Ganondorf, with the Kingdom Key Keyblade in his hand of course. ;o)

        1. Like desertfox says, I’m afraid I don’t have the time to make different poses for everybody of course, so there will always be people that would rather have the model in a different pose than the one I make it in…

But I hope it won’t stop you from building Sora when he’s done!

    2. He can only make one pose and maybe its not the one you want but thats only what you want I like it like this: http://www.justmanga.com/jmcover/KINGHEART2SORAF.jpg and my friend too we follow Ninjatoes crafts because they are very good we build 10 of them most Zelda and sometimes its not exactly how we want it but thats small thing for a good craft! Whatever pose it is I think it will be good!

  6. A few questions for you.

1.Do you only use Metasequioa for editing, or Blender too?

2.Are you using the freeware version of Metasequioa?

3.When you have to delete and remodel joints, how do you UV map the joint in Metasequioa?

    1. Most of the time I use Metasequoia to edit the 3D models for Pepakura Designer, and when I have to make something simple and quick from scratch, I use SketchUp; I never really used Blender, though… ;o)

If you look at the comparison between the freeware and shareware version of Metasequoia (near the bottom of the page) you’ll see that the freeware version doesn’t have the UV editor, and that is what you need to edit the UV map for the textures…

And even then, in the shareware version you need to uncheck “Basic mode” in the “File”-menu for it to show up in the command panel.

Once you found it, you will see that the “UV-map” appears as a net/web on top of the texture. Of course you need to create a material first, assign it, map it…

Although I’m afraid I don’t really have the time to write a complete Metasequoia tutorial here of course, a lot of things are easy enough to learn just by playing around with the program.

And of course, if the help files you can download from the Metasequoia website don’t answer your questions, you can always try finding more tutorials online, they’re out there! ;o)

      Good luck and have fun!

  7. great site for papercrafts can i request a papercraft project??? my girlfriend want a tweety bird papercraft ^^

    1. I will definately make a Black Hole Recon in the future (in fact, I’m planning to make all the units from Advance Wars, Black Hole Rising, and Dual Strike eventually! ;o) but my next release will be Sora from Kingdom Hearts 2, so it will have to wait I’m afraid…

    1. Yeah, like so many ideas of mine, Sora has been on my to do-list ever since the game was released.

But because I have so many ideas for paper models and only so much time, everytime I start a new project I have to make choices and keep pushing back a lot of nice ideas that I’d really like to do some day…

This time, it will be my next papercraft model after I finish the Blue Hole Recon, though. ;o)
