January 4th 2025 I had a big stroke…
I lived, but have to go through a long recovery
to see what I can still do in the future…

Hopefully it will be a lot…! 👍 Always keep having fun papercrafting!

Which papercraft model would you like to build?

What’s papercraft?” you ask?

Well, that’s when (in this case ;o)  you download and print a page of 2D parts (preferably on some thicker paper) cut them out and fold them, and then glue them together to make your very own 3D paper model of your favourite game/anime/movie character/whatever you like!

There are a lot of websites where you can find free templates to download and build, including my own one of course which you’re visiting right now. ;o)

Currently, I have two-hundred-and-thirty-seven (237!) free papercraft models in stock for you! :o) Select one of the Download categories above or in the Site map to the right to find the model you wish to download (if it’s not in one of the obvious categories, try the miscellaneous section).

If you want to contact me, or send me a picture of your finished paper model for the hall of fame, you can send me an e-mail at ninjatoes@home.nl and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Have fun building!

  1. This is extraordinary. Congratulations.
I’m from Portugal and I love making spaceships to fight stress.

  2. Great site Ninja
Thxs for Advance Wars models, i was looking for them ^^
i hope u get more of Black Hole models’ series (º. ^)=lb

  3. Hey Ninja

I want to thank ya for Links models, they’r great :). I’m plannin to make one for meh friend :).

And in future, I’d like to see here some Star Wars models ^^.

    Regards :)

    1. Thanks, I’m glad you like them and your friend will too! ;o)

As for any future Star Wars models: yeah, it’s one of those subjects that I really want to do some day, it has a lot of nice spaceships and characters!

If you did some searching already I’m sure you already found that there are lots of other people that made paper models from the Star Wars universe already, with more than enough models to keep you busy until I finally get around to it I think: link ;o)

    1. Right now I’m working on Koume and Kotake from the Zelda series, and I haven’t decided yet on what model I’ll do after those.

I will definately make more Final Fantasy models in the future, but I can’t promise you when, sorry…

  4. I’ve been trying to design papercraft lately, however, most of the models ripped have intersecting faces. Since I can’t figure out Blender, what is the best way to remove intersecting faces in Metasequioa?

    1. I don’t really think there’s a “best way” to make a paper model, everybody has their own preference… ;o)

There is a knife tool in Metasequoia that lets you cut the polygons any way you want, but if you just cut away the parts that are intersecting eachother, in most cases you will end up with a very difficult and weird connection…

So what I usually do, is just replace the old intersecting connection, with an entirely new one, that won’t have a lot of weird, angled edges (like I did on Koume’s and Kotake’s shoulders just recently: link)

But doing that is probably not really different in Metasequoia than it is in Blender or in any other 3D program: you really have to learn the basics of 3D modelling to be able to create new objects from scratch, and edit them etc…

And of course that is much easier to learn by looking at the help files and tutorials, and playing around with the program of your choice practicing with it making simple things, then me trying to explain it in words here… ;o)

  5. I’ve mostly only been designing papercrafts lately and was wondering, how do you make your pdo’s into pdf’s?

    1. Like Nick said, You can use a “PDF printer” to do that. There are a lot of people that use CutePDF, but there are many more that you can download and install for free, each with their own features of course.

It works very simple: if you want to save a document as a PDF, you click the print button as if you wanted to print it, and instead of your regular (real) printer, you select the virtual PDF printer. A “Save as…” box will pop up and ask you for a name and location to save the PDF file to.

  6. Well sir, you know there is something that I’ve noticed that just flummoxes me, and it is the fact that nobody has made (to my knowledge) any Final Fantasy VIII papercraft. What a crime, I know! So I have a proposition for you. Either say “I must rectify this fault forthwith!” or tell me why modelers do not produce said papercraft. Are the files or textures of the FFVIII models too good for Pepukara? Can the 3D modeling programs handle their awesome power? Is the disc from which you fetch them so powerful that every time anyone has tried their computers have crashed from the force? If you read this I would like you to, um, respond.

    from your friend (I’m sure)

    Filly Pulkinhatter

P.S. Do tell me: I am most eager to know, knowing nothing of such matters as model extraction.

P.P.S You know, I’m sure, that a letter such as this should always end lamely. Such is tradition.

P.P.P.S. Please don’t answer by saying, “Oh there is FF8 papercraft like the Leviathan and the Ragnarock
    Link http://www.papercraftmuseum.com/ff8-ragnarok/
    Link http://paperkraft.blogspot.com/2007/09/leviathan-papercraft-final-fantasy-viii.html so I hope that helped ; )”
I want some cool models, like maybe all the characters!

P.S. etc. Man, I’m needy, aren’t I? Such is the pain of those with a Mac without Windows capabilities (or rather one who doesn’t bother to buy a program that can go into Windows).

    P.S. etc. etc. I’m 14

    1. Well, the Leviathan paper model is from a FFVIII papercraft book from Digicube (ISBN 4925075594) which actually has paper models of 5 of the Guardian Forces: Jumbo Cactuar, Carbuncle, Leviathan, Bahamut and Odin on his 6-legged horse Sleipnir.

Chamoo232 made a Gunblade earlier, but I can’t seem to find it on her website anymore
(http://www.freewebs.com/chamoo_papercrafts/) but I’m sure you can still find it somewhere online, and then there’s the Ragnarok from Urashiman (http://urashiman.kilu.de/site/gb-paper.html) that you already mentioned.

Other than that, I don’t know why other people don’t make more FF8 models! ;o) I can only speak for myself of course: I simply have so many ideas, that I have to make choices which model I want to make next, and which will have to wait. But I’m a big Final Fantasy fan, and I really enjoyed playing FF8, so there are definately some FF8 models on my to do-list for the future! ;o)
