January 4th 2025 I had a big stroke…
I lived, but have to go through a long recovery
to see what I can still do in the future…

Hopefully it will be a lot…! 👍 Always keep having fun papercrafting!

Which papercraft model would you like to build?

What’s papercraft?” you ask?

Well, that’s when (in this case ;o)  you download and print a page of 2D parts (preferably on some thicker paper) cut them out and fold them, and then glue them together to make your very own 3D paper model of your favourite game/anime/movie character/whatever you like!

There are a lot of websites where you can find free templates to download and build, including my own one of course which you’re visiting right now. ;o)

Currently, I have two-hundred-and-thirty-seven (237!) free papercraft models in stock for you! :o) Select one of the Download categories above or in the Site map to the right to find the model you wish to download (if it’s not in one of the obvious categories, try the miscellaneous section).

If you want to contact me, or send me a picture of your finished paper model for the hall of fame, you can send me an e-mail at ninjatoes@home.nl and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Have fun building!

    1. To be honest, I really don’t know yet. Because TP hero Link is quite a big project again, maybe I’ll do a simpler one again.

Who knows, maybe I’ll make one of Lulu’s dolls again? (that’s *not* a promise, though…!;o)

      1. He’s making someone from metroid like Rundas, Ghor, Gandrayda, or dark Samus. Or the probably insanely hard, Ridley.

          1. That really all depends in what kind of mood I’ll be when TP Link is finished. ;o)

And yes, I will announce any new project on my weblog, unless I don’t (you know, when it’s a secret project ;o)

        1. please let of say ”he is making rundas (or the one u think)”
he is making TP link, and in case he makes rundas or some character of metroid, he will post an announcement of his blog

        1. That particular model was kind of a test to see whether or not seperate toes would be easy enough and yet look good enough to make in paper form.

And I must admit I think it looks pretty good. ;o) So I went along and made the entire model, and although it’s pretty much on hold for now, I will release it in the future.

  1. could you maybe try to show us how to rip models in a video? if you could give clear instructions on every program you need and how you do it. designing my own models would be fun, and your the best papercrafter at explaining things. if you cant do that have a little section with the programs you need and a vague idea of how to do it. if you did that alot more people might try that. thanks!

    1. There’s no definitive answer to “how do I extract a 3D model from a game?” because almost all game designers use their own method of compressing and storing the 3D data…

Sometimes fans of the game make a model viewer/extractor, but not evey game has such a tool of course. For some PC CD-ROM games that use DirectX 9.0 technology, you can use 3D Ripper DX ( http://www.deep-shadows.com/hax/3DRipperDX.htm ) and for N64 games, you can use an emulator (like Nemu64) with “Lemmy’s graphics plugin”.

There are lots of forums to be found for specific games and platforms, that can tell you a lot more than I can in a couple of messages, a full tutorial will have to wait until I have *a lot* of spare time, sorry…! ;o)

  2. Could you post it by my brother Aaron Mears?Do you think after building the schnauzer I should build Majora’s Mask Link?Well I,will build it because I have started. But do you think it was a good idea?I also want to know what your favorite model is?My favorite is the King Of Red Lions!;)

    1. I could add it to your brother’s listing (if that’s okay with him too of course! ;o) or I could make a seperate listing for you, but you can let me know when you send me the picture of your finished model.

With some patience, I think you will surely manage to build young Link, the most important thing I think is to choose a model you like, so you will be motivated to build it. Young Link actually is one of my favourites, although I really like all the models I made of course! ;o)

        1. The posts in the hall of fame are all by date, so what I could do is give both your posts the same date.

But I can’t guarantee that next time if one of you sends me a new picture, I’ll remember to change the date of the other one’s post as well (I’ll try of course, but don’t get mad at me if I forget! ;o)

  3. Actually, I’ve already build the King of Red Lions and am working on Wolf Link. But my friend wants to know because he’s just starting papercrafting and wants a Ninjatoes one

    1. Well from what I’ve seen it would probably be either Majora’s mask or the clock town Schnauzer, but these are his designs, not mine. Also, there may be some other simpler ones I haven’t tried yet. My first papercraft model I ever built was Majora’s mask, I felt it was a good place to start, just follow the instructions and you should be fine.

    2. That’s a tough question, the Tomb Raider Tyrannosaur head has nice big parts and looks pretty cool when finished I think, but if your friend is a Zelda fan, then probably Majora’s Mask or the Schnauzer, yes.

It’s a small step to my other Nintendo 64 Zelda models I think, and even Zora armor Link shouldn’t be very difficult if you understand the instructions, but of course I’m ust a *tad* biased… ;o)

But of course he has you to help him if he gets stuck, right? ;o) Have fun building!
