January 4th 2025 I had a big stroke…
I lived, but have to go through a long recovery
to see what I can still do in the future…

Hopefully it will be a lot…! 👍 Always keep having fun papercrafting!

Which papercraft model would you like to build?

What’s papercraft?” you ask?

Well, that’s when (in this case ;o)  you download and print a page of 2D parts (preferably on some thicker paper) cut them out and fold them, and then glue them together to make your very own 3D paper model of your favourite game/anime/movie character/whatever you like!

There are a lot of websites where you can find free templates to download and build, including my own one of course which you’re visiting right now. ;o)

Currently, I have two-hundred-and-thirty-seven (237!) free papercraft models in stock for you! :o) Select one of the Download categories above or in the Site map to the right to find the model you wish to download (if it’s not in one of the obvious categories, try the miscellaneous section).

If you want to contact me, or send me a picture of your finished paper model for the hall of fame, you can send me an e-mail at ninjatoes@home.nl and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Have fun building!

  1. just wnt to know what will be ur project after the tomb raider one

will it be somethin big like KH sephiroth, sora or naruto

    1. To be honest, I really have no idea yet; usually after I finish a model, I take a break to decide on my next model.

Maybe I’ll watch a good show on tv, or a movie, or play a fun game and I’ll think: yes, let’s make a papercraft out of this!

(it’s why my “to do”-list keeps changing all the time, always getting longer and never any shorter; every time I finish a model, 6 new ideas will be already have been added……. ;o)

  2. i just want u or any1 to just scale it down to the size of ur model not redesign it
    thx

    1. If that is all you want, I think just printing it at a smaller scale like Juiles already said would be the fastest and easiest way.

Use the PDF files, and just just choose “Print”. In the dialog that pops up, there are several options, including “Page handling” (of course it might be called differently in different languages!)

One option under page handling should be “Page scaling”. In the pull down menu, you can choose to fit 2 pages per sheet, 4 pages per sheet, or choose your own number that you want to print on one sheet (the preview will show you what it would look like on the printed sheet).

In the Pepakura files it says the model is about 84 cm tall, so it’s more or less three times as big as my Cloud. So if you print 3 pages per sheet (so you need to use the “Custom” option) it should come out more or less 28 cm. ;o)

I hope this works for you, good luck and have fun!

  3. Do you ave F-Zero Models? I was looking forward to making Fire Singray

    ( I know it sounds weird..Link wanting F-Zero charactrs…)

      1. thanks, i did it, and it was cool…
but why cant you host just that one? please?
just throw it in the miscellaneous folder

        1. I can’t host *that* one, because it wasn’t made by me, and on my website I only host the models made by myself.

So only if I made a paper F-Zero Fire Stingray model myself, I would put it here on my website.

But why do you want me to host the Stingray model if you can already can it from Nintendo Papercraft? Are you having trouble downloading it?

    1. sorry for … my comment, but isn´t it easy allready? i didn´t build it, but it doesn´t seem to be very complicated.
and the sice you can half or quarter it by yourself. change the options in the pdf print output settings.
okay, this isn´t an excelent way, but it is a way ^^

biggest problem is in my opinion the amount of black ink o.O

      1. i know but it will make the mohdel more difficult if we resize it and if we print 48 pages then it will use much ink

and also about its size about 30cm is okay but not its original size in the website

    2. Editing Fezco’s model to make it the same style as my Cloud model, would be *a lot* of work… Time that I would much rather spend on making my own models, as I hope you can understand…

I try to make my character models all about roughly the same size, but if I make a KH2/AC Cloud myself, I’m afraid it probably won’t be any time soon, because I have so many other ideas as well…

      Sorry I can’t really help you…!

    3. actually, i am working on fezcos cloud, and the only real hard parts are the hair, which has 33 peices, and the hands. just because its big doesnt always mean it will be hard, it just has more peices and uses more pages. Haywan chiu is making a life size Link, but he simplified it a lot, so it will take a long time to complete, but with not to much challenge. making a model 33 inch model into a 12 inch model would be extremely hard, to. the cloud is really cool though, so I recomend making it anyway.

      1. No ninjatoes simplified his model a lot, that’s why you can build it in small size without a lot of problems. Big models often are that big BECAUSE they would be too difficult otherwise, and the designer doesn’t have the skill to simplify it like Ninjatoes does.

  4. I saw a link to a naruto website in your misc links.

Are you planning to do a naruto papercrat? I would love that.

PS:I love your zelda´s papercraft; they are great.

    1. Yeah, it’s been on my to do list since forever, that’s why I already made a Naruto link… I still want to make one, but I have no idea when I’ll be in a big enough Naruto mood to actually do so… ;o)

  5. Any plans on further ff7-kingdom hearts cross overs? Personally I think Tifa and Aeris would make excellent papercrafts…

      1. In fact I’m planning on doing many more Kingdom Hearts models, but I can’t tell you a date when I will start working on a new one, simply because I don’t know myself yet. ;o)

    1. Do you mean pictures of a model you built, or do you mean a template that you made yourself? If the files aren’t too big, you can try attaching them to an e-mail message you can send me (my e-mail is ninjatoes@home.nl ) but if the file is larger than 5 MB, it won’t come through.

You can upload the file on a free filehost and then send me the link so I can download it. I hope this helps, I’ll keep an eye out for whatever it is you want to send me…! ;o)

  6. when you download papercraft some times a rar file comes up what is it and why cant i get it to work? like on the papercraft musieam when you down load what is an rar file and how come i cant get them to work?

    1. RAR-files are the same as ZIP-files: they are archives of files, compressed together to save space.

Just like you need a tool to unpack and decompress ZIP-files, you need a tool to unpack and decompress RAR-files. There are many tools that can do this, like 7-Zip (http://www.7-zip.org/) which is freeware, and the format’s native program, WinRAR (http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm) which is shareware.

After you have installed the program, you can simply doubleclick the files to have them automatically unpack so you can view the files inside.

    1. I’m not sure what you mean exactly? Do you mean in Pepakura Designer, sometimes when you join parts, the parts overlap eachother?

That is just something that happens because of the way the parts are connected, and you can’t really do anything about it except cutting up the 3D model in a different way (it’s often better to cut up a big part into seperate pieces instead of keeping it together) or redesigning the 3D model altogether.

If you mean when building the model, then I think it really is just a matter of experience and maybe taking more time.

Sometimes when the paper needs to make a difficult fold or curve, there is so much tension in the paper, that it kinda pulls itself the way it wants to go. By pre-shaping the part, you can get a lot of that tension out of the paper, maybe that will help a bit as well.

    2. So, some pieces in the 3D model intersect, right?
In that case, you will need to do that in the 3-D modeling program rather than Pepakura. Just trim off the part at where it meets the other one.

      I hope it helps! :)
